How to Check Your Written Exam Result Online

Step 1: Open Your Office’s Website

Use the official website of the office where you attended the exam. Look for Written Exam Result, Exam Notices, or लिखित परीक्षाको नतिजा on its homepage or results section.

Step 2: Match Your Examination Date

Choose the date on your exam slip and confirm the vehicle category. Government notices often use Bikram Sambat dates, so check the month and day carefully.

Step 3: Open the Actual Result Notice

Look for नतिजा, which means result. परीक्षार्थीहरुको नामावली may only list applicants scheduled to attend. Your name on an attendance list does not confirm a pass.

Step 4: Search Your Applicant ID

Open the PDF and use Ctrl+F on a computer or Find on your phone. Search the Applicant ID or registration number from your slip, then compare your name and category. A row’s serial number is not necessarily your Applicant ID.

Step 5: Read the Next Instructions

Check the trial date, venue and reporting time, if provided. The office may publish the trial schedule separately. Save the notice and keep your original application documents.

How to Check Likhit Results in Your User Portal

Some offices publish results inside your application account.

  1. Open the official portal used for your application.
  2. Sign in and open your existing application record.
  3. Check the written-examination stage or result.
  4. If you passed, follow the available trial-booking instructions.

Bhaktapur’s notice for 2083 Bhadra 2 says written results appear in applicants’ own user portals. Successful applicants were instructed to select their trial date there. Other offices may still publish public result files.

Use the date inside the notice. A website’s calendar or recent service announcement does not make an older result new.

How to Check Written Results on Facebook

Open the Facebook page linked from your transport office’s government website. Find your exam-date post, open the result attachment and match your Applicant ID.

Confirm that the attachment shows results rather than attendance or a trial schedule. A page name containing “Yatayat” or “DoTM” alone does not establish that it belongs to the office.

How to Check Your Driving License Trial Result Online

Trial-result access depends on your office and application system. There is no single verified public search screen covering every office.

  1. Open the official account used for your application.
  2. Select your existing application and look for its practical examination or trial stage.
  3. If a result is shown, match the test date and vehicle category.
  4. If no result is available, check the office’s notices or contact its information counter.

The card-print checker does not establish whether you passed the trial. Use your examination record for that decision.

Trial Result vs Likhit Result

The likhit result shows your written-examination outcome. The trial result shows your practical driving-test outcome. Passing the written exam does not mean you have passed the trial.

A trial schedule tells you when to attend. It is not proof that you completed or passed the test.

What Pass, Fail and Absent Mean

Status Meaning
Pass You passed the examination identified in the record
Fail You did not pass that examination
Absent You were recorded as not attending
Next actions after pass, fail or absence and separate card printing

Check which examination the status refers to. Kalanki’s examination notice says absence can count as a failed, used attempt. Ask the office to review your record if attendance was entered incorrectly.

When Is the Trial Result Published?

Your test centre may tell you the outcome after the examination. The online record or public notice may appear later. There is no verified nationwide deadline for publishing trial results online.

Before attending, check the date, category and venue in your booking record. Also check for postponement notices; a previously scheduled date may have changed.

Result Not Showing? Common Problems and Fixes

Problem What you can do
Wrong office or exam date Match the notice with your application slip
Incorrect Applicant ID Recheck the digits and any registration prefix
Result not published Check the account and official announcements
PDF search finds nothing Try the displayed number format or inspect scanned pages
Portal unavailable Try later without submitting another application
Details do not match Ask the office to check its original record

A missing online entry alone does not confirm failure. If you cannot find your Applicant ID, check your account or contact the office before searching by name alone.

Failed the Trial? What Happens Next?

Ask your office how to register, pay the required fee and obtain your retrial date.

Kalanki’s published instructions describe two additional trials within 18 months of passing the written exam, making three attempts in total. They also describe an immediate-retrial registration option after failure.

Older official pages still mention 90-day arrangements. Confirm the rule applied to your application. The retrial examination fee and vehicle-use charge may be separate; do not assume a universal NPR 500 fee or seven-day waiting period.

If you failed the written exam, ask about written-test reapplication instead. Practical retrial instructions do not apply to that stage.

After You Pass the Trial

Follow your office’s instructions for paying the license revenue. Keep the receipt and check your personal details before leaving.

Trial approval, payment and physical card printing are separate stages. After the required payments, use our driving license print checker to search imported government printing records. If you prefer the original publications, browse the printed license lists and PDFs.

A missing print record does not cancel your trial pass. The relevant printing batch may not be included yet.
